Susan Engle

Nutrition Matters was established in August of 2004 with the mission of providing individualized nutrition counseling services, group education, home visits and other nutrition consulting using evidenced based science and whole foods to meet each client’s specific lifestyle and wellness needs. Since 2008 Susan has added expertise in Mind-Body Medicine to her skills via annual advanced trainings. Since 2011 Susan has been a certified Intuitive Eating counselor.

Susan’s areas of specialty include helping people make peace with food, weight management (via non-dieting methods), eating disorders, food allergies and sensitivities.

Susan also has expertise in diabetes, sports nutrition, general health management (reducing blood pressure or cholesterol via diet rather than medications), pregnancy, and vegan and vegetarian diets.
